Day 22 - 15/07/09
| Finally opened a Lloyds TSB account today. May be getting somewhere and may be able to sell my books! My Chinese dictionary arrived today. I got back from Middlesbrough in time to escape the rain. Spoke to my Mum last night for the first time in a month and she spoke to me like a human being. She also said I was 'someone' and I am on this Earth for a reason. I am a pretty petite lass and she wants people to look at me for the right reasons. Mum has never ever said any of this before in my 18 years of being on this planet. I got so upset (in a happy way). She sent me a text message afterwards saying that she has kept all the stuff in my old bedroom as she cannot bring herself to throw any of it away because it would be as if I was never there. She has never gone that soft before. |
