Day 20 - 13/07/09
| It sounds stupid but today has been the busiest day since I moved here. I was dying my hair whilst cleaning out the bath and cleaning out the bin. I got back from the post officeand the bin smelt of sour milk and it was all over the house. The smell still lingered after I took the bag out and put it in the wheelie outside. So I boiled the kettle, put some bacteria surface cleaner on the inside as well as a splodge of washing up liquid for smell and poured boiling water on the inside of the bin and in the lid. Just a little. Then I had a bath with my hair stuck on my head as I had just dyed it, so wetting it would be pointless. Whilst dying my hair I got a phone call from Aaron (Will's old uni mate) saying he was going to Scotland and if he and his mate could come and stay the night. We agreed to keep it a surprise for Will. Then I dried my hair and laid down for a bit because all the moving around made me really hot; the hair dryer didn't help. I then lugged the vaccum upstairs and tidied out the spare room for Aaron then vaccumed the hamster food off the bed. I also vaccumed a bit of mine and Will's room and moved Petey in there. The moved the blanket from the bed (where Aaron left it months ago!) then put it on the washing line and beat it to get to dust off.Trying to cover all this up and not raise suspscion! Though Will is oblivious to everything. Can't wait to see his face when Aaron arrives. |
